#1 is your answer, which does not have the apostrophe between "qui and il". You said this was correct. My answer #2 has the appropriate contraction "qu'il est", but you marked it wrong. Why?
#2La femme avec qu'il est marié est très belle.are here, but the one that counts is not. This is upsetting.
I think it was well written, and I am not good at typing! So, don't want to do it again.
I did a lot of typing to explain the quite obvious error in the answer. What happened to it?
My answer, #2 below, is written "qu'il est". An apostrophe should separate these two adjacent vowels.
The so-called "right" answer, #1 below, is written "qui est" with no apostrophe between qui and est. My answer, #2, correctly has the apostrophe. Answer #1 is wrong; if not, please explain why not.
Yours, marked as correct.
My answer, marked as wrong.
"Elle prendra l'avion à New York, puis fera une escale à Paris avant de prendre un autre vol pour Montpellier."
Why is it "prendra l'avion à New York" but "pour" for "prendre un autre vol pour Montpellier"? Is there a reason it can't be "à Montpellier"?
How can I used il' y a in a sentence , I know il' y a is there is . So can I used like "il 'y a un chat en ma maison" that is correct ?
If I write nous allons but in past sentence , I can write like Nous avons allons au centre commerciale. That is correct?
In "le causatif", consider the sentences :
Eva s'est fait laver les cheveux par sa soeur ;
I know fait is invariable here, but I don't understand why it is, and not faite or faits (or faites)
Thanks
/DO
So if I write "Nous allons a le centre commerciale" We are going to the mall. That sentence is correct?
