This is it, the much-dreaded date is back, and you're going to have to rise to the occasion so that one's beloved is not disappointed! It goes without saying that the crucial element of the evening remains the gift, which ought to be both elegant and extraordinary, for them to know how much you love them. First mistake not to make: giving them the wrong flowers. Though the rose is an obvious choice, each colour has its own meaning. Know that the red rose conveys an unwavering passion, whereas the white rose is synonymous with chaste, even platonic love. And think twice before opting for the yellow rose, for you'd express infidelity or betrayal!
