This weekend, we needed to clean the house. On Saturday morning, I went to the supermarket to buy some sponges and some bleach while Sabine was hoovering [US: vacuuming]. Then, we divided the tasks: I took care of the bathroom and Sabine did the kitchen. After lunch, we washed the dishes and we did several washes with our bedsheets, (our) towels and the rugs. And on Sunday, we tidied up. What a busy weekend!
