How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

- Léa? I didn't recognise you! Last time I saw you, you were still sucking your thumb and you wouldn't let go of your mummy's [US: mommy's] skirt! How you've grown! How old are you now? - I turned twelve last week. - It must be at least seven years since we've seen each other... Yes, that's it, it was at Sophie's wedding. Your cousins Christophe, Sébastien and you had spent the day running all over the place! Do you remember them? - Vaguely... you know, I was really young back then... But they came to say hello to me earlier. - You absolutely must be seated at the same table! Let me check with your mother if that's the case... - OK, she wants me to go and help serve the aperitif, so I'll see you later!
