When I get angry, I literally start seeing red, and I can't think straight any more. Before, I used to struggle to manage my anger, and I would sometimes hurt myself by punching a wall for example. But over time, I developed good coping mechanisms which allow me to cool down fast. In moments of anger, I close my eyes and I focus on my breathing which I try and slow down as much as possible. It usually works quite well and after a few minutes, I become calm again.
