I had never gone to Lyon before, though I'd always been interested in the second most populated city in France which boasts of a rich cultural and historical heritage, thanks to its geographical situation at the confluence of two rivers: the Saone and the Rhone. And the city that I had imagined so often, did not disappoint (me)! I wandered through Vieux Lyon on the Presqu'île until the place des Terreaux where I could admire the majestic fountain by Bartholdi, to whom we owe, among other things, New York's Statue of Liberty But if I had to pick one memorable thing that I discovered during my trip, it would be Lyon's famous "traboules"! I was blown away by these fascinating hidden passages that link Lyon's alleys through closed-off courts and buildings. It was like being in a fairy-tale maze!

I'll be right with you...
