The day Yann and I celebrated our engagement, my parents had a surprise in store for me that I didn't expect at all! I hadn't seen my aunt Monique since she and her husband had moved to Quebec when I was eighteen. Before they went to live over there, Monique and I were [like] joined at the hip. She's my mother's youngest sister and they're more than ten years apart, so she was more like the big sister that I never had! But I would never have imagined that she would come all this way for my engagement! I might as well tell you that I was speechless when I saw them coming out of their car!

Clever stuff happening!
