How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

- This weekend, I went to the market and I bought lots of local products! There were many more interesting choices than at the supermarket. - It's true that my housemates and I tend to go to the supermarket every week because it's more practical to buy everything [that] we need in the same place. - Even though I understand your point of view, the market food was fresher and the sellers were friendlier. They took the time to explain to me where all their products came from and they also gave me excellent advice to help me cook the vegetables that I'd bought. - It's not something that happens as often at the supermarket. But don't you think markets are more expensive than supermarkets? - Yes, but I like that their products come from local suppliers, which is better for the environment. - Okay Annie, in the future, I will try to do my food [US: grocery] shopping at the market more often.
