How the test works

Here's a preview of the text for the writing challenge, when you're ready click the start button above:

- Sophie, when you were in sixth form [US: high school], what did you do to wake up on time? - My mum [US: mom] used to come into my room every school day because I would never hear my alarm clock ringing. - What did she do then to wake you up? - She would open the window wide and she would remove my quilt from the bed, which worked every time. I would feel the cold air on my skin and I'd wake up with a start. It was the thing [that] I hated the most! - That's hilarious! My mum [US: mom] would simply call me from the bottom of the stairs.

Clever stuff happening!
