Yesterday, I went to visit the Louvre Museum in Paris. I arrived before the opening time, so I was able to avoid queuing [US: standing in line]. When I entered the famous Pyramid, I was very impressed by its huge size. First, I wanted to see the Italian paintings, so I started my visit in the Denon Wing. I walked through several beautiful galleries and I saw the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci! Then, I decided to explore the Richelieu Wing, where I admired the apartments of Napoleon III. Finally, I bought some souvenirs at the gift shop.
