- Hello again, Mr Duvolant. I hope that you didn't find anything too serious during the MOT [US: inspection]. To be honest, I was afraid that my car would fail the inspection this year. - Don't worry, she still has plenty of life left in her. However, you're going to need to do a few essential repairs to get your certificate. - I figured as much... What needs fixing? - To start with, I noticed that your front brake pads had reached their wear limit. It's vital that we change them as soon as possible for your safety. Besides, your rear tyres are badly worn, which can be really dangerous. On a wet road, you risk losing control or aquaplaning. - OK, let's change these tyres, I don't want to play with fire. How much will these repairs cost me? - I've drawn up a detailed quote which you can look over. If you give us the green light, we'll order the parts today. - Everything seems to be in order. Thanks for your honesty, Mr Duvolant.

Clever stuff happening!
