Every autumn, I go to my parents' place to celebrate Thanksgiving. It's always the same routine: Mum [US: Mom] cooks a delicious meal with the help of my grandmother and aunt. The men set the table, then they watch the (American) football on TV. They get up from time to time to get a beer from the fridge. And me? I usually sit down in a corner and I enjoy this familiar scene.
