- Do you remember the girl from the office I told you about? - The one you don't get along with? - Yeah, the one who's always asking me to stay late... This week, she went even further ! I had warned everyone that I was going away on holiday [US: vacation], and that therefore, if they wanted me to do anything, they needed to tell me [it] by Tuesday at the latest, so that I would have time to take care of it. When I took my lunch break on Friday, I had managed to finish off everything I had to do, and I was already starting to feel like I was on holiday [US: vacation]. And then, she comes to sit across from me in the cafeteria with a pile of files telling me that she needs them by the end of the weekend! - No! That sucks! You must have been gutted [US: ticked off]! - Damn right! But I had no choice: I stayed until midnight to finish them!
