aucune ne or aucune d'entre elles

Question

Both of the above are listed in the lesson but I was marked incorrect using aucune d'entre elles in q lesson referring to les gosses, none of them....please advise. Thank you!

Gosse is masculine so shouldn’t the answer be "aucun d’entre eux"?

It seems it can be un gosse or une gosse according to reverso qnd google translate depending on whether male or female kids. Or des gosses in plural. Thanks for your reply. Laurel

was there other context given ?

Without knowing for certain that it was an all female group, the standard default grammatical gender would be masculine in situations like this and ‘ .. d’entre eux ‘ correct, as Anne notes.
