In the sentence "Est-ce que cette table vous convient ? " why is convient correct and its not convenez please?

‘ ( cette ) table ‘ is the subject of convenir - 3rd person singular. ‘Vous’ is the indirect object pronoun of convenir - the expression is  “(qqc) convenir à qqn “.

In English effectively ‘ that table suits to you ‘ - but that is not at all colloquial, so the translation is not a direct equivalent.
