Elle se fera rembourser.

I do not understand why se faire is used in the case.

Nothing is being done to or for - rembourser.

Hi Gary,

She (will have/make herself) be repaid --- "Elle se fera rembourser"  She is not repaying herself but will make an agent do so.            Causative Faire

Example.    Imagine that she has returned some faulty goods, she doesn't refund herself of course but is refunded (repaid) by the trader. (agent in this example). She will (make/have) this action done for herself.

Agree with Jim.

Elle se fera rembourser. -- (more literally): She'll get herself a refund. Or (still very literally:) she will make herself be refunded.
