En Nigeria
This question relates to:French lesson "J'habite à + [ville] = I live in + [city] in French"
Asked 4 years ago

Bonjour Omowunmi !
It should be “J’habite au Nigeria.”
Since Nigeria is a masculine country in French without a vowel beginning.
You may use “en” along with a feminine country or a masculine country beginning with a vowel.
For example- J’habite en Inde. (Feminine country)
Je vais en Iran. (Masculine country with a vowel beginning) - Just for euphony.
Non-native speaker so apologies if I get corrected by Madame Cécile.
