Why do we say "folle aventure" even when "a" is a vowel?

This question relates to:French lesson "Beau, nouveau, vieux, fou, mou have two masculine forms and one feminine form (French Adjectives)"

There's no clash of vowels between the pronunciation of folle and aventure (the -e in folle is silent).
