In some contexts, yes they are synonymous. But if this was a quiz specifically on ‘aimer que/détester que’, the answers accepted come directly from the lesson. If in a free form exercise etc not all correct answers will necessarily be covered, so if you know you are right, you can just ‘mark’ accordingly.
