I thought that se rappeler does not require a de preposition unless it comes before a verb. Why does she say "Je m'en rappelle ..." in the last sentence and not "je me le rappelle ....?" Merci !

Je m'en rappelle comme si c'était hier

Even though je me le rappelle would be grammatically correct, it isn't at all in widespread use and sounds stilted.
The correct phrase, take it as an idiom, is: Je m'en rappelle -- I remember it.
