Je n'ai pas de chien. -- I don't have a dog.
Je n'ai aucun chien. -- I don't have any dog.
With aucun/aucune the negation is stronger.

Does the aucune form imply anything like distaste for dogs ( in this case )? Eg, I dont have any dog and don’t want ever want one?
