Négatif forme

Bonjour,

J'ai écrit "Je n'ai pas de monnaie exacte".

Je pense que on doit utiliser "DE" au lien de "LE, LA, LES"  si il est en forme de négatif, non?

Merci

Miriam

There is no rule that says you have to use de after a negative.

Je n'ai pas la monnaie exacte. -- I don't have exact change (literally: I don't have the exact money). You use the definite article here, because you are referring to a specific set of "money" or coins.

Je n'ai pas de monnaie. -- I don't have money. Here it is a general reference to money.

Je n'ai pas le livre. -- I don't have the book. (A specific book).
Je n'ai pas de livre. -- I don't have a (any) book.
