How does personne work in a sentence written in past tense?

How would someone say “nobody believed me” for example? Is it “ne m’a cru personne” or should it be something different?

Hi Eva,

Personne ne m'a cru      --> Nobody believed me.

Not entirely sure if "ne" is required  -- let's see what the other contributors may add.

Hope this helps

Jim

@Jim: your example is correct: you need ne.

Here's another one:

Je ne parle à personne. -- I talk to nobody.
