It is ‘forbidden’ to use liaison following ‘et’.
It is worth reading the series of articles on obligatory, optional and forbidden liaisons referenced from the attached link.
Also, it is worth knowing that in everyday speech ‘optional’ liaisons are used much less commonly than in the past, and can sound formal. Not wrong to use though.
