Se diriger?

For 'head home', can you use 'se diriger chez vous'?

se diriger is indeed to head towards but it's usually followed by vers. 
Je me dirige vers la plage - I'm headed towards the beach. 

For "heading" home better to just use the usual verbs:
retourner chez moi/à la maison
rentrer chez moi/à la maison
