The opera in which the subject finds themselves/him/itself being an uprising the neapolatians against their opressers...? Shouldn't it be: The opera in which the subect finds themselves in an uprising...A against B?

Hi There , I think it's referring to the happenstance that that night's performance just " happened to be on the subject of Neopolitans uprising" that the Belgian uprising occurred....
