This is an awesome song

The song was chosen to be in Eurovision through the French selection process, so it was obviously accepted as being significantly ‘French’ by them, even if not in the metropolitan French language. 

The accompanying story is, to me at least, interesting enough to stand alone, and the video clip is a bonus.

Bretagne is a culturally interesting part of modern France, and preserving its language is a major aim of many Bretons, and also supported by at least a reasonable number of non-Breton French natives as well.
