why do we need two nous

hello im wondering why is the correct awnser nous hablilons cause there was already a nours infront of it so i do not think that another nous would be neccersary.

The verb is ‘s’habiller’ - a reflexive (pronominal) verb. The subject and the object of the verb are the same person/people.

If you have already used ‘Je m’appelle...’ you have used a reflexive verb.

The example is a difficult early one because for vous/nous, the subject and object pronouns are the same. If we use “je” it would be “ Je m’habille ...” with the object pronoun being ‘me’ ( liaison resulting in m’).

Adding on to Maarten's answer:

In French, you say "we dress ourselves". The first nous is the "we" and the second one is "ourselves".
