Hi Teresa, I just clicked my way through the entire exercise to identify the passage that you refer to. Next time, please post the sentence which you have a question about.
I only find present tense sentences with no trace of passé composé. But maybe you are getting confused by sentences like this one:
J'ai envie de toi. -- I need you (literally: I have need for you)
This may look like passé composé on first glance (with ai the auxiliary verb and envie the participle) but it is plain present tense. It uses avoir in first person singular, not as an auxiliary verb but as the main and only verb. And envie isn't a participle but a noun.
