Why J’en déduis instead of je déduis
In this sentence “ J'en déduis donc que vous vous fournissez en matières premières dans la région ?”, why is it j’en déduis instead of je déduis. What does the ‘en’ stand for?
This question relates to:French dictation exercise "At the handmade pottery shop"

Bonjour Isaac,
From my understanding of the conversation between the visitor and the proprietor. The gallery owner is explaining his Art logistics to the visitor.
She (the visitor) deduces from the conversation that the materials used in the pottery are more or less locally sourced.
She expresses this deduction --> "J'en déduis donc que vous vous fournissez en matières premières dans la region ?"
The 'en' represents her deduction, based on the conversation, that the materials are locally sourced.
"I can therefore deduce (from the conversation) that you source your raw materials from the region "
Hope this helps.
Bonne journée
Jim
