Well, the tirst person says "Us?" whereupon the second person answers, "No, not you!" (as in plural you, since it is also 'us', i.e., plural me.

French speakers like to double up kn the subject. You frequently hear things like
Moi, je vais au marché.

@ Chris, actually "toi" could definitely be correct here, because the situation is completely ambiguous: It sounded to me like the second person is simply saying, "No, not you and me (us), because you are not included--it is just me alone."
