Writing challenges and self scoring strictness

Hi!  I just took my first writing challenge and found myself using slightly different word choices (vocabulary) and on one sentence I used a slightly different word order than the proposed correct translation. So just wondering how to grade myself when I'm pretty sure my answer was as valid as the answer. How much wiggle room should I allow myself?

That's difficult to answer. I just picked a level of strictness and stuck to it consistently. That way I could jusge my progress more easily. It doesn't matter so much on an absolute scale.
