Omitting 'le' when talking about weekdays In a specific contextGontran a décommissionné le jeudi 12 mars. Couldn't the 'le' be omitted since we have here a specific weekday?

present vs future tenseLa question dit: Comment on peut mieux dire: I'll arrive dans 5 min. J'ai choisi "J'arriverai dans 5 min," mais le correct réponse c'est "J'arrive dans cinq minutes." Pour moi, J'arrive says "I am arriving" vs J'arriverai means "I'll arrive" et ce phrase est le mieux bien qu'on puisse utilizer l'autre aussi. Dit-moi comment j'ai tort. Merci.
