What is the difference in meaning between 1. La fille à qui je sense
La fille à laquelle je pense.
No difference Dorinda, just two ways of saying the same thing -
La fille à qui je pense = La fille à laquelle je pense
The girl I am thinking of
Hello, some sources tell that, for people, you can never use "lequelle", "laquelle", but just "qui". So, as far as I understand, this information is not correct and we can use lequel (and others) for people as well. Am I correct?
Many thanks for answer in advance, because this inconsistency makes me feel confused...
