Adjectives that go after or before

Bonjour.

I took a quiz and it said I was wrong when I put charment last but in the list it says if an adverb is 2 or more syllables it go after the adjective? Or would charmant not be considered an adverb and incase be considered the adjective of Clark gable?

Thanks

Nicole

Hi Nicole,

you might have noticed that this particular lesson is about adjectives that go BEFORE nouns, and 'charmant' comes under the first category -

1.  Adjectives qualifying a proper noun (starting with a capital letter)

so

Le charmant Clark Gable

is the correct answer.

Bonne Continuation!
