Why is ‘de carte postale’ used with cocoiters (coconut trees) and not sable (sand)? The English sentence uses postcard white sand, not post card coconut trees

Not sure if I have understood your question correctly but just as postcard applies to both white sand and coconut trees, in the English sentence, in the French one, 'de carte postale' does too, and is just placed after the nouns it refers to instead of before.
