I did the exercise and couldn't find a problem. The bar indicates how far along in the audio you are. So after listening to the first section, the bar moves to the beginning of the second section and you can now enter your answer, after which you click "Sumbmit Answer". This brings up the page showing you possible answers and lets you select how well you did on this part. Then you click "Next".
