L'inversion du sujet et verbe

Je comprendais des autres professeurs que l'inversion est utilisé moins que 1% du temps à l'oral car c'est trop soutenu, très formelle. Si c'est vrai, pourquoi n'acceptiez les deux formes plus utilisé: "Est-ce-que ..." et l'indicatif normal avec un point d'interrogation ?

Et oui, je sais que l'inversion est utilisée plus fréquent dans les journaux et en géneral en écrivant.

Ou, peut-etre mieux, vous pourriez constater que même que les inversions sont utilisées peu fréquent à l'oral, toutes ces questions utilise l'inversion du sujet et verbe.

Bonjour Michael,
Learning how to form inverted questions is quite important in French as it is a useful thing to know and to be able to use when talking French. I would say it is used a "little bit more" than 1% though. You will hear it a lot if you listen to the news (being TV or radio bulletins). This lesson being specifically on how to form inverted questions, the test questions will only accept the 'inverted form'. However, we realised that not all test questions were clear enough and so they have now been amended to include a hint.

Are you pointing out that the lesson on how to form inverted questions only accepts inverted questions as answers???

Hi Michael,I agree that the inversion is used less often in oral conversation to allow the warning of a question by using "qu'est ce que / qui ..." in oral contacts.In the written form the inversion would be acceptable because there is no such need for an impending question "flag".Bonne journéeJim
