Hi, can I use le samedi instead of chaque samedi. I've read that an article is used with days of week when an action is repetitive.

Yes, you can. It's a variation, similar to English:

le samedi -- on Saturdays
chaque samedi -- every Saturday
tous les samedis -- every Saturday ("all Saturdays")
