Would be more useful is we could see what gender were countries starting with a vowel.

The starting letter doesn't have any bearing on the gender of a noun.

Exactly, and as a result we currently can't tell from this list. Those genders would be a very useful addition!

All countries ending in 'e' are feminine (except Belize, Cambodge, Mexique, Mozambique, Zimbabwe). This info is taken from a Kwiziq lesson

When listening to the list, they use a male or female voice so that way, you'll know if it's masculine or feminine
