why is it 'elle faisait son jogging' and not 'elle faisait DU jogging' ?

Bonjour James,

You are right that "du jogging" is a correct option here. It has now been added to the exercise.

Elle faisait du jogging

-> "du" implies the general activity

Elle faisait son jogging

-> "son" implies a habit - which is not something being expressed in English
