Bonjour Gillian,

Ennuyeux = boring / annoying:

C'est un livre ennuyeux = It is a boring book

C'est un homme ennuyeux = He is a boring man

C'est une affaire ennuyeuse = it is an annoying business

Ennuyant upsetting / annoying - dated expression!

C'est une affaire très ennuyanteit is a very upsetting / annoying business

See the links below:

ennuyant - ennuyeux  -  cnrtl.fr/definition/ennuyant

I hope this is helpful.

Bonne journée !

Hi Gillian,

Have a look here:       https://www.wordreference.com/fren/ennuyeux

In particular, see the "inflections" where there are the various forms of male/female/plural

Hope this helps.

Jim
