Bonjour Emil,

Yes, you are right that 'week-end' is also a correct spelling. Both 'week-end' and 'weekend' are correct. The latter spelling is acceptable since the 1990 Spelling Reform. Personally, I always use the hypen. Thank you for pointing this out. It has now been amended.
