Generally speaking, there are three possibilities to express a repetitive activity:
Géraldine vient le lundi. -- Géraldine comes on Mondays.Géraldine vient tous les lundis. -- Géraldine comes on all Mondays. (not quite good English, I know)Géraldine vient chaque lundi. -- Géraldine comes every Monday.

In the textbook I use to teach junior French in Australia (Years 7/8), we first teach «le + days of week» to express «every (days of week»'. Then, next year «chaque», then later the adjective «tous/toutes les + pl. nous», although the book doesn't teach the differences of nuance among these 3 expressions. Now it's all clear.
