Example Sentence
Remember verbs always have a subject (je/tu etc.) but only some have objects. Use object pronouns to replace nouns that are the object of the verb.
This question relates to:French lesson "Me/te/nous/vous = Me/you/us/you (French Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns)"
Asked 3 years ago

Hi Youbode,
The examples are in the lesson.
You only use object pronouns when the verbs are transitive.
Intransitive verbs don't have any objects.
e.g
partir = to leave/ to go
in intransitive
Il est parti = He has left
quitter/laisser = to leave something/ somewhere
They are transitive
J'ai quitté le bureau à 18h -----> Je l'ai quitté à 18h
J'ai laissé mon passeport dans l'avion -----> Je l'ai laissé dans l'avion
hope this helps!
