This is translate by “doing scuba” and “deep dive” whereas there is no differences or word placed for “deep”. How’s that?

Bonjour Ruth,
Thank you for your comment! 'Faire de la plongée sous-marine' or 'faire de la plongée en profondeur' can both mean 'to go deep-sea diving'. 'Faire de la plongée en profondeur' has now been added to the list of vocabulary.
As Maarten mentioned you can also say 'faire de la plongée profonde' or 'faire de la plongée en profondeur'

There is also plongée en profondeur and plongée profonde which is probably closer to what you are looking for.
