faire mal à and faire du mal à in negative

Question

Could someone please help give me an example in negative form? I would like to understand if the du has to change to de.Ex Paul will never hurt me (both physically and emotionally)?

Il ne fait mal à personne = he doesn’t hurt anyone
Il n’a fait mal à personne = he didn’t hurt anyone

Je ne fais de mal à personne = I don’t hurt anyone
Je n’ai fait de mal à personne = I didn’t hurt anyone
Je n'ai pas fait de mal à Patrice = I didn't hurt Patrice

Just looking at Céline’s answer to Deleted above, I can’t see why the first has both pas and personne and the second just the one negation, personne. Can you possibly clarify?: Je ne fais pas de mal à personne = I don’t hurt anyone

Thank you for pointing this out! You are correct that the first sentence doesn't make much sense: you do not need "pas" there. I have amended my sentence. Obviously, I didn't pay enough attention to what I was writing.
