First syllable clipping

First syllable clipping

In the exercise’s audio (but not in the full audio playthrough) the first part of “qui” in “qui, elles aussi”, and also the first part part of “pour” in “pour une projection” seem to be missing.

Hi Brian,

I have listened to the audio and the particular points you highlight, however, I don't find anything material to warrant a re-record at the present.

Maybe other users could comment?

Bonne Continuation!

I had a listen too. Couple of spots where it occurs - I could still clearly make it out though. Have had greater problems with “normal” fast speech such as an episode of Dix pour cent just seen!

I am glad someone has mentioned this.  I have the first syllable clipped about 50% of the time.  So, I always listen to each piece at least twice if not more.  Even then, I sometimes don't hear the first syllable (or word).  If I am marked wrong, I still give myself a score of 5.  I have long felt that there needs to be inserted a one second pause at the start of each piece.  By the way, my computer is quite new with a fast processor.
