Fusilier vs tirailleur
This question relates to:French lesson "a trooper / a rifleman"
Asked 2 years ago
Hi Ariana,
A fusilier (noun, related to the verb fusiller-to shoot) is a rifleman, but a tirailleur is an infantryman who may or may not carry a rifle weapon (for shooting)
Bonne continuation.
