help, please!

I think I'm a bit confused when to use "voir" and "regarder". Also, would it be wrong to say "elle s'assoit toujour près de la fenêtre"?

Hi Carolina, 

It is the same difference as to see and to watch/ to look at in English -

Voir ( to see) is a passive unconscious action. It is what your eyes do in the same way as your ears hear (entendre

Regarder is to look at /to watch which is a more active conscious action just as écouter is to listen.
